Olympic fever
Wow what a weekend it has been. Paris certainly put on a show on Friday night and it is an opening ceremony that we will all remember for years to come.
The icing on the cake was Celine Dion's amazing performance, words cannot express just how happy we were to see her on the Eiffel Tower singing one of Edith Piafs most beautiful songs; "L'Hymne à l'amour".
Piaf wrote the lyrics and recorded it in 1950, to music by Marguerite Monnot, in reaction to a tragic fate: the death in a plane crash of the man she loved, boxer Marcel Cerdan.
Bravo La France for a memorable evening and we are looking forawrd to watching some of the world's finest athletes in actopn over the course of the next couple of weeks.
Belle semaine a tous ♥
