The day the blender died

 Yesterday was cold and wet, perfect weather for making soup I thought.

Who would of thought that such a simple process would turn into a nightmare.

I roasted carrots, butternut, garlic and onion in the oven. The next step was to place all the vegetables in the blender with some hot chicken stock.

You cannot get much easier than this I thought except this is when things started to go pear shaped.

The blender would not switch on. End result a lumpy soup which French Boyfriend thinks is the best soup I have ever made and me searching on the internet this morning for a new blender.

So you now know how I will be spending the morning - reading endless articles on which is the best blender to buy.
