How Long An Open Bottle Of Champagne Actually Lasts

French boyfriend has convinced me over time that you can  not keep an open bottle of champagne for  a long time in the fridge so this article attracted my eye this morning.

That said I am not sure I want to risk losing the remains of a perfectly good bottle of champagne so we may just carry on as if it does indeed expire in 24 hours.

This quote from Lily Bollinger, sums up my feelings about champagne perfectly....
