A charming sight

 

Bonjour and bonne année 2023♥

We spent the first day of 2023 out and about in the Dordogne.

It was a lovely way to start the year and we even found Pere Noel hiding in Sarlat, a village known for its market, it is one of the best in France.

Teddy bears were part of the Christmas decorating theme in Sarlat and what a charming sight they made, perched on the window ledges on a number  of the stunning and very old stone buildings.

The town hall was adorned with lots of greenery, baubles and teddy bears holding gifts.

I am sure children loved the teddies as much as I did...
