Interesting reading - Top ten brands in France

 

According to a study taken in January 2022, the top 10 brands in France are as follows:

1. Leroy Merlin- French headquartered home improvement and gardening retailer.
2. Decathlon-  French sporting goods retailer. With over 1697 stores in 60 countries and regions, it is the largest sporting goods retailer in the world.
3. Action -  Originally Dutch, international discount store-chain.
4. Amazon Culture. 
5. Fnac - Fnac is a large French retail chain selling cultural and electronic products
6. McDonald's.
7. Ikea.
8. Sephora - French multinational retailer of personal care and beauty products.
9. Amazon Multimedia.
10. Leclerc - French cooperative society and hypermarket chain.

No netflix and not a clothes seller to be seen. Times are changing in France with a lot of French taking up DIY as a hobby, buying as much as possible on Amazon and Action, eating Macdonalds, then exercising at home whilst keeping themselves looking beautiful at the same time.
