New Arrivals in Our boutique - Antique Toile de Jouy

It is rare to find antique toile de jouy fabric in France nowdays so to say I was happy when I found this fabulous late 1800's toile de jouy fabric, is an understatement. 

There is a depth to the designs that just does not exist in the more modern designs.

This said, I adore most toile de jouy designs but the antique designs really do take my breath away.

In this design we see country folk going about their daily lives in such charming scenes. 

It is almost too nice to cut up -  you could make a lovely and very large cushion or you could frame it and display on the wall.

You could even cut it in half and frame both halves seperately.
