For those of you wondering what to do with monograms...

 

I recently purchased a new book which is filled with fabulous things to make.  

It is called Shabby Chic and it shows you how to make some  French style items using lovely material.

There are a couple of projects that use antique French monograms, one is the fabulous bag you can see in the first photo and another is this cute bag.

The stripes look fabulous but you could also use a piece of toile de jouy fabric if you wanted to.
