A sunny Sunday

Bonjour mes belles,

How are you?  I hope you had a lovely weekend and you got some time to relax.

Ours was a sunny weekend and we managed to get a good dose of Vitamin D.

Sunday was very cold in the morning and  very hot in the afternoon,  talk about extremes.

We visited a couple of antique markets and managed to find a few goodies which will be appearing in our boutique this week.

This antique porcelaine de Paris cake set was one of my first purchases of the day and you could use it for either cake or sandwiches.

I can just see a French yogurt cake in all it's glory, sprinkled with icing sugar - the darkness of the plate would contrast against the golden glow of the cake nicely.

Another new addition is this fabulous pair of vintage French tasseled curtain tiebacks, Marie Antoinette and French boudoir come to mind.
