Bonjour juillet

Where have the last 4 months gone? I can not believe that July is already here.

It has been a very surreal 6 months and all we can do is live each day at a time as it is a little hard to plan what we will be doing in six months time. 

Nature provides us with some sense of normality, birds continue to sing and flowers continue to bloom.

Sunflowers are a reminder of this normality, they bloomed last year as they have for many years and they will continue to bloom for many years to come.

Sunflowers are called tournesols in French, which translates to turn to the sun. I love the way they face one direction when you pass them in the morning and in the afternoon they have turned their backs to you and they are facing the opposite direction.

So here's wishing you all a fabulous month of July and merci to  sunflowers for making the world a brighter place.
