1st day of liberty

Today is the day that France start easing the confinement restrictions and people start returning to work. There are strict regulations in place re keeping a safe distance from others, using hand sanitizer, wearing masques and staying within 100kms from your home.
During the confinement, I dreamed of this day and now that it is here, I am in no hurry to leave the village or crack open a bottle of champagne.
Perhaps I will feel differently as the week unfolds, but today I am happy to stay in the house and prepare for venturing out in the great, wide world tomorrow kitted out in gloves and mask, with hand sanitizer in my bag.
