Wish we were here

One can only dream of the better days to come and we are missing getting out and about.

This photo was taken in Deauville last November whilst we were on holiday. We are thankful that we had the opportunity to spend a week in Normandy and the following month we spent a fabulous couple of weeks in Morocco.

We thought that we should have spaced the holidays out a bit but now looking back we are pleased that we didn't as the 2nd holiday may never have happened.

It is important to make the best of every opportunity as you never know what is around the corner and this exactly what we have learnt  from the corona virus epidemic. Who would have though a few months back all flights around the world would grind to a halt and that we would be spending large amounts of time in our homes?

  1. Dearest Leeann,
No one never can know upfront what will be around the bend... We are grateful for having made our long trip of 29 days (!) last year for seeing Dad one final time. Good feeling as he died suddenly 12 days after we'd arrived back home in the USA. We also did make our Danube Cruise from Budapest to Bucharest, flying there and back from Amsterdam. Fondest memories. This year was for the writing... this suits us well.
    Hugs and stay safe.
