a brand new week...

 Bonjour mes belles,

There is nothing more refreshing than a brand new week and I am trying to pack as much into this one as I can. I snapped the above photo whilst on my way to my upholstery class.

This is my latest project which is slowly started to take shape.....

Unfortunately it was in a very bad way so everything has to be redone which takes some time as I am finding out.

These are the original springs which are going to be reused and then tied together again....

I have another class again tomorrow morning so stay tuned for another progress update tomorrow.

Dinner beckons as French Boyfriend is on his way and I had better get a wriggle on so that dinner is ready when he arrives.

très bonne semaine à tous, Leeann x

  3. I have so wanted to take an upholstery class or two, I have now come across two bloggers creative ones you included who are taking upholstery classes. I know when you get those 8 way hand tied springs back into place the piece is going to inspire any room you place her in. I am looking forward to seeing the fabric choice, rustic or formal it will be divine.

    What's for dinner? :)

  4. Bonjour Leeann,

So neat that you are learning the skill of upholstering - the chair is going to be beautiful. I have a chair similar to yours that has green silk fabric that needs to be recovered.
Hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying the summer
    hugs

  5. The perfect chair!!! I need to keep my eyes open for one like that. I have a space that needs a small, but comfortable chair. I'll be thinking of you while I enjoy looking.
