Sneak peak....my new house



I was hoping to have time to take photos of  the items that we bought yesterday but I have been busy with orders etc, but wanted to show you the dolls house that I found yesterday at a local vide grenier so I quickly took this photo.

The interior is not finished so I have a blank canvas to play with.......I am thinking along the lines of mini chandeliers, french couch, fabulous bed etc......along with some farrow and ball paint!

I cannot wait to start decorating but I am realistic so think that it will be a winter project. I am hoping that you will give me a hand re finding/making the pieces I need to make my maison de poupee fabulously french!

    Oh wow...that's one of my dreams right there! It's gorgeous!!! I had a dollhouse growing up that my dad built for me, it's my dream to have one again:) Have fun!

    Great dollhouse! It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like it is a front opening?

    You will find a whole new world in miniature! You should attend the miniature show in Paris!

    I always dreamed of a doll house for my daughter...well, not such luck, I have 2 sons. i settled for a fabulous Steiff Teddy bear house and had so much fun with my boys when they were young. My son found a great use for his bear house, a marvelleous place where to hide the homework. While cleaning the attic (where sadly the house is now) i found all his misiing homework for his 2nd grade class, hidden inside a niche of the teddy bear house...
    your find is so beautiful and you will have such fun decorating ...
