Beautiful and very large meringues - note our Parisian friends love them as they are not perfect looking like those in Paris and they taste much nicer as they are not as sweet.
Those meringues sure look scrumtious. I have to say though that my favourite treat from a patisserie in france is a coffee eclair - nothing beats proper french creme filling in the choux pastry. The whipped cream variety with hard chocolate and tough 'choux' pastry found in Australia is just horrid compared to these mountfuls of perfection. I'm drooling just thinking about them!
what the hell is this???
