vendredi fleurs...

{lovely flowers in my kitchen courtesy of ma belle ami Christine}

Another week has disappeared tres vite and I cannot believe that it is already vendredi again.

It has been a sad week for New Zealand as another earthquake took place this week and many lives were lost.

Many people are currently without water or electricity, my heart goes out to all those affected and I would ask that all kiwis stay strong as although NZ is only a small country we kiwi's are known for our "can-do" attitude.

My thoughts are with everyone in Christchurch. You are strong, wonderful people who will get through this.

  5. How sweet of you to think of the folks in Christchurch. We all pray that the aftershocks stop and all the people are found alive under the rubble.
    It's all so sad.

  9. Hi Leeann!
    Great pic as usual of the flowers. It is sad that the earthquake hit in such a populated area in New Zealand.... I have been there and you New Zealanders are resilient people, it will take time but they'll pull through it...Maryanne xo

  10. Christchurch is Adelaide's sister City, so we need to lend our Kiwi 'Sister' a huge hand up. They have a long road ahead, but I'm feeling the Trans Tasman love already.
