vendredi fleurs...

{my latest tresor}

Sorry for the lack of posts this week but it has been a busy week with lots going on.

Yesterday I bought the fabulous light fitting that you see above, from my friend who owns a brocante in the village.

As soon as I saw it, it was love at first sight and I had to have it.

It is perfect for our new bedroom as I am using a lot of white and this fabulous object has the right amount of colour.

I have a thing about roses at present and love them in any form whether it be parfum d'ambiance, dried rose buds scattered in the bottom of a hurricane lamp or in a bouquet.

We even have a rose scented candle in the bedroom which smells divine.

Do you have a favourite flower at present? Vous me dites. J'aimerais savoir.....

Je te souhaite une bonne fin de semaine.....

Leeann x

p.s. Mr FF cannot believe the weight of my new "tresor" and is now thinking about re-enforcing the ceiling of the bedroom, and has told me not to bring any more chandeliers home.

  6. I love your chandelier - every time I buy them my OH does a big groan while he wonders how he is going to fit this one. I think a beautiful pale pink old rose has to be my favourite flower whatever time of year it is.

  9. Bonjour, Leeann:

J'mappelle Kelsi, et j'habite à Wisconsin. I just discovered Fabulously French this week and wanted you to know I have already read every blog post you have written. I am so inspired by your gentle and positive lifestyle. I feel that is something that really lacks in les États-Unis. Everything here is about convenience and being in a hurry, and there is not much joy in that. I want so badly to live in Europe for a time but you have encouraged me to live with a new attitude here until I can make that dream a reality. Merci beaucoup!

    - Kelsi

  10. Hi Leeann,

I adore your pretty light fitting, the perfect little roses and the colour so soft.
It will look so beautiful up ~ good luck to Mr FF, with attaching it to the ceiling.

    Happy weekend
    Hugs
    Carolyn

  11. Hi there, I am lucky that I live next to my Mum, she has a beautiful English rose garden, I can not name one in paticular but the scented old roses are beautiful and each has a different fragrance, she often cuts a single bloom and allows me to have it.
As for the chandelier, that is a minor detail for something so lovely.
