Summer love....

{melons at our local market}

There is nothing nicer than fresh melons, and they look a lot nicer in a basket at the local market than in a box at the supermarche...

A demain mes amis,

  10. Ah, so glad summer is not over. What a lovely photograph and reminder to keep buying foods from Farmer's Markets. "Locally grown" - that's what we're doing this weekend when we will pick our own veggies at Styer's Orchard in Pa.

  12. Could those be "melons de Cavaillon"? I used to love buying them on Rue Moufetard when I lived in Paris.

  14. There is nothing like going to a local market and buying fresh fruits and vegetables. For some reason they just taste better and inspire me to go home and cook up a lovely meal.
