Fabulous chairs...



A new shop has opened in our village, how fabulous is this?


I love their window display as I love chairs hanging in windows, I think they look much better hanging than standing. don't you?

    I was at the recent Bastille Brocant fair in Paris, and 1 dealer had a collection of colorful side chairs all hung from the top of his booth. He even went further and hung 2 arm chairs upside down. There is no way one could pass his booth and not see his chairs. So, I think it worked!

    I seem to have a fetish for great chairs and still own a couple that need a redo. I had a good friend that owned an antique shop and the whole upstairs (which was rather large) was nothing but chairs! Great sets that all needed a little redo to make them into something special. I love the hanging chair in your display and it definitely makes the window more interesting.
