Easter Baking - Two Tone Cookies

Bonjour from a sunny SW France,

It has been a busy week and I have been enjoying spending time in the kitchen.

Easter is one of my favourite times of the year and I am looking forward to this weekend.

In the past I have made bunny shaped cookies but this year I felt like a change. Ironically I did not need to buy a new biscuit mold as I found some that were purchased last year but were never used.

My initial idea was to make sandwich type cookies but I decided against it as I know a lot of people are watching their sugar intake hence I ended up making these two tone cookies instead.

 

They turned out perfectly and I am giving them as gifts this year.
