Food and memories

These beautiful raspberries were too good to ressist, not only are they one of my favourite foods, they bring back wonderful  memories. Eating warm freshly picked berries with cold ice-cream, on a lovely sunny summer's  day in New Zealand.

Here in SW France, it is winter and it is proving to be a very wet winter as it has rained almost ever day for the last 5 weeks and this pattern is set to continue for some time yet.

So it is a big merci to Morocco for a) producing some of the best raspberries we have ever tasted and b) by doing so, reminds us that we need to revisit a fabulous country that remains in our hearts.

I think it is safe to say, this tomorrow's recipe may just include a few of these beauties.
