What a week

What a week it has been, most of France was hit with a blast of Artic air at the begining of the week, which created chaos in most parts of France. Sadly we didn't get any snow but we had lows of -9 and highs of 4 degrees.

Fortunately it was sunny in Saint Tropez on Wednesday when they laid Brigitte Bardot to rest and the Gypsy Kings reminded us that we don't need to be sad to celebrate the life of a loved on.

Ironically I fell in the love with the Gypsy Kings after hearing their music in a mexican restaurant in New Zealand when I was in my early twenties.

It was only when I came to France that I learnt that it was Brigitte Bardot that discovered them and introduced them to the rest of the world.

Yesterday the weather turned from cold to stormy and it must been the one day when we did not envy those living by the coast as it was one of the worst storms that has hit France in recent years which left a lot of people without electricity and many had to evacuate their homes.

Fast forward to Saturday, the weather forecast looks okay so here's hoping we are able to get outside and get a dose of vitamin D.

Belle week-end a tous ♥
