Bursting into bloom ♥

 

It has been wet and rainy most of the week so I am just happy my lovely hyacinths are finally bursting into bloom as they remind me of Spring and warmer days. 

I purchased the bulbs before Christmas, placed them with a little water and kept them in a dark place where they started sprouting roots.

Every couple of days I checked on them and it was amazing to see them growing before my eyes.

The flowers last a lot longer than on those that you purchase growing in earth.

It is the first time that I have tried this approach and I am very happy with the results.
