Thanks to French Boyfriend, I too have caught a cold and we are going through boxes and boxes of mouchoirs.

I like to think that the honey & rum mixed with hot water is  working but only time will tell.

This morning the replacement chabon filters arrived for our kichen hob so I thought I would clean the external filters before inserting the new filters. 

It proved to take longer than I  thought it would and I am just happy that it is now sparkling clean and drying by the heater.

I am now wishing I never started as I am now in clean everything in sight mode....

This will not last long but I just wish our kitchen resembled the one in Rodney Smith's fabulous photo.
