A grand comeback

 

These are the first words I read this morning in my favourite French news site.

Silverware is making a grand comeback in France and the fashion is to mix vintage with new.

This is something we have always done but we are happy to see others adopting the same approach.

There are so many combinations you can use and it is a way to stand out from the crowd.

Whilst in Trouville sur mer last week,  we had tea in a fabulous salon du thé

and it was lovely to see them using mismatched vintage china and silverware.
