Hamburger or hot dog?

 

To celebrate the 4th of July I decided to offer French Boyfriend a choice of either hot dogs or hamburgers for lunch.

When asked he said he wanted lobster. That is living with a Frenchman for you. 

My reply was we have no lobsters so hamburger or hot dog?

He replied hot dog. Just as well as I had my bread mixture resting in the fridge, a first attempt and I was hoping it would turn out okay.

The mixture was for 12 hot dog rolls  but I chose to make 4 hot dog rolls and 4 hamburger buns.
