Louis XV's Idea of Working from Home

 

This photo of Louis XV's home office at Chateau de Versailles takes working from home to a whole new level.

Needless to say, he would not have had to  worry about Wifi conection speed but he certainly would have looked the part during his zoom meeting.

If only this desk could talk, what a tale it would tell. 

The Chateau is currently closed due to the COVID restrictions, fingers crossed it will not be long before we and other tourists are able to explore what I consider to be, one of the most fabulous places in France.

Here's to dreaming about visiting lovely places and the return of our liberty.....
