One of my favourite French words - Passementerie

I love the word "passementerie" as not only does the word  sound fabulous,  images of frivolous and fun fringing  amd pom poms spring to mind.

French Boyfriend and I are hoping to start a new project together in the not too distant future and in typical "me" fashion, I am starting with the details and working my way up to the bigger and more serious items.

So I am starting with the fun part, fringing and pom poms and it is a lovely way to start a new year....

Here's to remembering to have fun and appreciating the smaller things in life that make us smile.
