Latest finds 30 August 2020

We were up at 5am yesterday morning as there was a local antiques market happening and we knew we had to get the early as there would be a lot of  dealers looking for the same things.

Half way there it started to rain, French Boyfriend wanted to turn back but I insisted that it was just a passing shower and to continue as it may not be raining by the time we arrive.

Luck was on our side as by the time we arrived, the rain had stopped and the dealers were starting to install.

Some dealers like to look around before setting up their stand so patience is required.

We purchased some fabulous items as you can see from the photos above and below.

One of my favourite finds was this silver religious wax seal stamp which features Joan of Arc on both sides.

The initials are difficult to read but I think that they are RP.

Next up was this lovely antique brass frame which would make a lovely and unusual gift.

For the man who is partial to a cognac, how fab is this vintage bakelite ashtray in the shape of Napoleon's hat?

A real collectors item as is the item that follows.

From the same seller was this highly collectable Lido Paris Moet and Chandon Bakelite ashtray, you can just imagine these sitting on the tables whilst the clients watched the fabulous and very burlesque dancers dancing the fabulous can can....

These items have been added to our online shop and there will be more items added during the course of the week including a couple of vintage Tattinger Champagne buckets and a fabulous antique door knocker.

Belle semaine ♥♥, Leeann x
