Bon dimanche

I am thankful for photos. Photos that were taken when life was seemingly normal until we hit a bit of a bump in the road.

These tulips were purchased from a seller on our weekly market, around the same time last year and I love the fact that they are all different and they were grown a couple of kilometers from where we live.

They cost a lot more than those that are sold in the supermarket but I am a firm believer you get what you pay for.

Perhaps this is one of the lessons we have learnt from covid-19, that countries should rely less on others and support local producers and continue to manufacture as opposed to sourcing the cheapest and fastest produced items.
