vendredi fleurs...

Bonjour from a rainy SW France,

We are happy this morning as we have been waiting for the rain as it has been very dry here for the last few months.

This weeks flowers were purchased yesterday at our weekly market. Sunflowers or tournesol as they are called in French are my favourite flowers and I love the way that when they are growing in the fields they "follow the sun".

Wishing you all a fabulous Friday, Leeann x

p.s. For those of you in the area, do not forget that we have the vide grenier on Sunday with over 300 stands.

  2. Hi Leeann,
So sorry that I haven't been around for a while.....I have had MASSIVE problems with my computer and Blogger.....HUGE !!!!I am hoping that all's well now.
I LOVE sunflowers too and, when we have driven through France, it's lovely to see all of their heads, pointing the same way. Lavender and sunflower fields are stunning, aren't they ?.....and, so summery. We have also had the rain and, I'm afraid that we need much more. Some of the UK are on drought status and there will be a hosepipe ban.Have a wonderful, weekend. XXXX
